The Reciprocity Economy
What is it?

Reciprocity is generally described as the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit. In other words, a mutual exchange of privileges.

GIZMOH is bringing attention to a new concept and innovative thought provoking reality we call: The Reciprocity Economy

We are currently living in what is widely acknowledged as the "sharing economy" where individuals are said to rent or "share" things like their cars, homes and personal time to other individuals in a peer-to-peer fashion. While the term sharing economy is the term most often used, the sharing economy is also referred to as the access economy, P2P peer-to-peer economy, gig economy, collaborative consumption or collaborative economy.

This economy is an information technology enabled model for commercial or non-commercial sharing of goods and services capacity through an intermediary without transfer of ownership.

However, the term "sharing economy" is misleading as companies who are and who have been using the sharing model are usually hierarchical in structure and they monitor and control its users, demanding they purchase services while guiding their movement and determining their level of earnings. Subsequently those pricing mechanisms impose unpredictable costs on its customers, extracting ever greater amounts of money whenever customers are compelled to pay them. More often than not, the "shared economy" is a top-down economy and not shared at all. This has done tremendous damage to the economy, the consequences of which are felt by millions of workers around the country today.

To save this economy we have to become a participating economy, close the wealth gap and do so based on reciprocity instead of top-down “profit at all expense" mentality. The aftermath of this crisis cannot and will not support “business as usual” rhetoric. Tens of millions of people are in need now and they need assistance today. This can only be done through the reciprocity model. This is not a social welfare model. It is not a universal basic income model. It favors incentive, participation, free market enterprise, entrepreneurialism, creativity, imagination, passion and community spirit.

Most importantly, the information technology industry can no longer be a “one way street”. A few massive tech companies cannot monetize the time and data of hundreds of millions of people, with or without their informed consent, without offering some form of reciprocity. Participation has to be rewarded as more and more of our lives move online. Reciprocity is the key. Imagine if Facebook would pay you for your being a Facebook user, if Google would pay you for having a Gmail address, if Instagram would pay you to create a story, if YouTube would pay you to post content or if Zoom / Skype would pay you to have an online meeting? This is thought provoking but when you realize that these companies monetize your data with or without your knowledge and then control that content to serve their own agendas and make billions of dollars from doing so in the process without offering any reciprocity whatsoever, you should seriously start to wonder if that is not a model that should and must change.

How does it work?
The Reciprocity Economy models works, in principal, on rewarding mutual participation rather than the single-sided corporate monetization of an individual’s data. Yes, that means YOUR data. It is a system that, instead of collecting personal data for advertising based monetization, measures the participation of an individual in relation to the software services they use on a daily basis and then scores this participation in the form of reciprocity. In other words, the more you participate in a service the more reciprocity you receive. This system can create millions of new jobs in a very short period of time and should be seriously considered.

In the dictionary, diligence is described as a “steady, earnest and energetic effort

With subscribers in over 100 countries around the world and in over 58 languages, it is very hard to monitor all information that is transmitted across the internet. It is even more difficult to correct or enforce faulty representations and they tend to “live forever” on the internet.

We are fortunate that our subscribers keep a keen eye on information that is not accurate or entirely accurate and often they help to keep the network clear of false information.

However, it is important that you make sure the benefits you might read about on the internet or in an email that is not originating from GIZMOH are accurate and true. Remember, if it is not in your account menu, it doesn’t exists.

Quantum computing makes use of quantum mechanical phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement to perform operations on data. Quantum computers are different from digital computers based on transistors. Whereas digital computers require data to be encoded into binary digits (bits), each of which is always in one of two definite states ( 0 or 1 ), quantum computation uses quantum bits ( qubits ), which can be in superpositions of states ( 0 and 1 at the same time)

An example to show the difference between quantum computing and digital "classic" computing would be the test of the maze.

Imagine you are in the center of a very large maze and you are asked to find your way out in the fastest possible way.  You would start to move as quickly as possible, encountering dead-ends and wrong turns along the way until you finally exit the maze.  Now imagine that we could make you faster and faster and faster still.  You still would be just one person trying very rapidly to exit the maze.  Think of this in context with digital computing.

Now imagine that instead of you being just one person, we could make you into millions of people. And we would tell the millions of you to go and find the way out of the maze.  Each one of you would go in a different direction at the same time at incredible speed.  Certainly one of you would find the exit to the maze in a matter of milliseconds.  That is quantum computing.

In the last 2 years, quantum computing construction and on-going research has progressed tremendously. The scalability of quantum computers is being addressed by new technology partners entering the industry and old established giants who are spending significant money in research and development. There is a promising future for semi-conductor based quantum computing, even though super-conductor based systems seem to be coming along nicely. In any case, the future of quantum computing looks very bright indeed.

GIZMOH is a global cloud based network. As such it operates from a network of sophisticated data centers which are located in different parts of the world such as Luxembourg, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, California, New York, Seattle, Northern Virginia. The data centers are secure and are designed to tolerate failure while maintaining full service levels. In case of failures, automated processes move traffic away from the affected area. Core applications are deployed to an N+1 standard, so that in the event of a data center failure, there is sufficient capabity to enable traffic to be load-balanced to the remaining sites.

Service usage is continuously monitored and infrastructure is deployed to support the availability commitments and requirements. Access to the data centers is only provided to approved employees. All employees who need data center access must first apply for access and provide a valid business justification. These requests are granted based on the principle of least privilege, where requests must specify to which layer of the data center the individual needs access, and are time-bound. Requests are reviewed and approved by authorized personnel, and access is revoked after the requested time expires. Once granted admittance, individuals are restricted to areas specified in their permissions.

GIZMOH™ stands for:

Global Innovation Zone Multimedia Online Hub

GIZMOH is comprised of hub components with significant links to other nodes in the network. This is important as our network is considered a scale-free network.
